Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this position)

You First Physio are looking for an energetic and knowledgeable person to join our team to run vocational support contracts with ACC.  The preferred candidate will have had experience dealing with Stay at Work, Back to Work, Training for independence and concussion contracts.

You will lead these contracts and work independently to facility a safe return to work for each client.  You will be given support as required depending on your experience.

We are open to both part and full time options with flexibility in hours worked each day/week.  

Te āhuatunga a te tūrunga (About the role)

This is a job with flexible hours and you will have autonomy over your case load but with the support of one of the directors as you go along.  You will be assisting clients with their return to work contracts via ACC.  The successful candidate will have great communication and people skills and good at time management.

You First Physio is a physiotherapy business that has 4 sites in Christchurch - Riccarton, University of Canterbury, Avonhead and Longhurst.  We have grown the vocational support work and now require more staff to cover this growing area of our business.  We currently have 4 providers that are covering these contracts along with 20 physio staff providing the rehabilitation to our patients.

Our team believes that every client should receive gold standard care at every contact.  As a team we aim to provide the latest and most up to date treatment delivered by a caring, friendly and professional team.


We are open to either part time or full time positions for the right person.

You will start on a competitive salary, be provided with laptop and phone and have your mileage covered in your vehicle.

Flexibility in your hours worked, you will visit work sites to complete your assessment.  Report writing, notes and calls can be done from home.

You will be part of a wider team of health professionals and have support as you require it.  Although your work will be autonomous we are a very connected team and value the importance of team building sessions including regular social events.
