Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this position)

The role

We are looking for a passionate Registered Health Professional (Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, DAPAANZ, RN, Mental Health Nurse) with an APC/registration to provide clinical services to our clients based at our residential sites in West and South Auckland.

Following an assertive case management framework, you will provide client-centred clinical support and therapeutic rehabilitation to clients to ensure their independence is maximised/maintained, and recovery is optimised to enhance their quality of life and sense of well-being. 

A key aspect of the role will be liaising with funders and other agencies including ACC, Te Whatu Ora clinical teams, WINZ, and other community organisations, developing partnerships that ensure our clients are able to achieve their goals.


Te āhuatunga a te tūrunga (About the role)

  • Conducting clinical assessments to evidence outcome measures
  • Delivering individual and group therapeutic interventions
  • Working collaboratively with clients, their families and other stakeholders
  • Participation in multi-disciplinary meetings
  • Coaching and supporting Rehabilitation staff with goal planning and intervention
  • Maintaining relationships with Mental Health clinical services and ACC Case Manager·        
  • A passion for mental health/TBI rehabilitation
  •  Driven to foster positive change in clients
  •  Confident with report writing
  •  An annual practising certificate or registration as a health professional in a relevant field (Social Work, Mental Health Nursing, RN, DAPAANZ, Occupational Therapy)
  • 2 years experience working in the Health and Disability/rehabilitation fields 
  • Have NZ residency / valid NZ working visa
