Seating To Go is a specialised wheelchair, seating and
postural management service that is part of New Zealand Health Group. Our team of expert assessors and technicians
provide a comprehensive person-centred service, from assessment and training,
to equipment repairs, servicing & modifications. We provide services to
ACC, MSD – Disability Support (formerly Whaikaha) and private clients. We are now offering ACC Assessment Services
in the Canterbury (and across the wider North Island) region.
Te āhuatunga a te tūrunga (About the role)
We welcome interest from an experienced Wheelchair and
Seating Therapist to join the Seating to Go team as a Contractor. This role is
based in Christchurch, however we have other opportunities nationally. This is an exciting opportunity
for a person-centred, innovative and creative Occupational Therapist or
Physiotherapist. You would join a team of technicians and therapists working in
wheelchair and seating provision with people of all ages and abilities. What we
do makes a difference to how people are able to participate in everyday
life. Reliability, ability to manage
self and time, good communication and team skills and computer literacy are
essential, as is a clean, full driver's licence.
Ko wai koe (About you)
To be considered for this role, you must be registered with the Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy Board with APC. For this position, we require applicants to have some experience in wheelchair and seating assessments or an associated field. We will be open to providing development opportunities to therapists who have limited experience but an active interest in wheelchair and seating in the future.
