As part of our Vocational and Community Services team, you'll be supporting clients across the Northland region. This diverse role includes:
- Vocational Rehabilitation Services (VRS)
- Rehab at home
- Stay-at-work and Return-to-work services (SRNA)
- Early Intervention programs
You’ll deliver services in clinics, in people’s homes, on worksites—and yes, you’ll also have the option to work from home for admin tasks. We tailor roles to match your strengths and interests!
Te āhuatunga a te tūrunga (About the role)
The role will include:
- Conducting workplace assessments to support return to work after injury or illness
- Providing education, training, and rehab in both home and workplace settings
- Collaborating with GPs, specialists, employers, and whānau for seamless client support
- Managing a varied caseload across ACC contracts, private clients, and early intervention services
- Delivering OT assessments and in-home interventions to help clients thrive
- Supporting junior staff
Ko wai koe (About you)
About you
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
- Have 3–6+ years of clinical experience
- Are passionate about Vocational and Community Services
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
- Have a current NZ practising certificate, professional body membership & indemnity insurance
- Hold a clean, full NZ driver’s license
- Are organised, proactive, and a confident communicator
- Enjoy working both independently and in a team environment
- Are culturally aware, and ideally familiar with Te Reo Māori (not essential)
Post-grad qualifications in occupational health or vocational rehab are a bonus—but not required. We provide full orientation and ongoing support to set you up for success.
