About the Mahi (Role)
Based in our Nelson clinic, you will receive tailored training and mentoring from the wider TBI Hand Therapy team and enjoy a supportive, collaborative environment.
In this dynamic role, you will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, delivering Hand Therapy and a range of other services. Your role could also include vocational therapy, clinic-based physiotherapy, inpatient care, aged care, or community work, creating a hybrid role tailored to your skills and interests.
Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, and Exercise Consultants, including a Registered Hand Therapist on the HTNZ Executive Committee, and gain exposure across multiple specialties to grow your professional expertise.
This is a permanent, full-time role (Monday to Friday). If you’re passionate about developing your Hand Therapy skills and making a real difference for clients, we would love to hear from you.

About You
Our ideal candidate will have a positive, can-do attitude and share our vision and values.
While a minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience in Hand Therapy and a postgraduate qualification are advantageous, they are not essential.
We welcome applications from Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists eager to learn Hand Therapy. We provide comprehensive orientation, training, and ongoing support to help you succeed.
