Te āhuatunga a te tūrunga (About the role)

This position has a specific focus on stroke rehab, and will be placed within the Community Rehabilitation team.

The hours for this role are 40 hours per fortnight working Monday to Friday.

Ko wai koe (About you)

You will have at least two years post-qualification experience, NZ registration in Occupational Therapy, a current practicing certificate and a range of generalist and specialist skills.

Additionally, you will bring the following:

  • The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, within the inter-disciplinary team
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong clinical reasoning skills and use of evidence informed practice
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • Full clean driver's licence
  • Complex Housing and Level 1 Wheelchair Enable accreditation are welcome, but not essential

You will also be adaptable to change, resourceful and flexible to service needs, and will have a genuine passion for working with patients in the community on their health journey. If this sounds like you, we welcome your application.
